Remove Your Factory Seat
Lift the factory helm seat off its base to expose the helm platform mounting bolts underneath.
Remove 4 Bolts
Unbolt the 4 factory platform bolts securing the helm base to the deck. Set the original platform aside.
Drop In the Riser
Set the WakeBallast riser in place. The CNC-machined base aligns with the original bolt pattern — no drilling or modifications.
Reinstall Seat and Go
Run the same 4 bolts back through the riser and into the deck. Remount your seat. You're done — 4 inches higher and a locking storage box richer.

No. The riser drops directly into the factory bolt pattern — 4 existing bolts, no new holes. Most installs take 10–15 minutes.
What's the point of a seat riser on a wake boat?

Does the glove box actually lock?
Yes. The 2010–2020 and 2021–2025 risers include a locking glove box built into the riser platform. It uses a standard key lock — you'll receive the lock hardware with your order.
