WakeBallast is the only company in the wake boat industry offering professional vinyl ballast bag repair. If your bag has a broken port, blown seam, puncture, or tear — send it to us instead of buying new. Our team repairs it using the same RF welding equipment we use to build bags from scratch.

How It Works
- Ship it to us - drain and dry your bag, then send it to our Chandler, AZ facility. Put it in a garbage sack before you put it in cardboard. Water and cardboard don't mix!
- Label - Put your name, email return shipping address in the box. Also put the year, make, model and bag location in your boat.
- We assess and repair - our team evaluates the damage and performs a professional RF-welded repair
- We ship it back - your bag comes back restored and ready for the water
Turnaround time: Most repairs are completed within 48 hours and back to you in your hand within a week!

Can ballast bags be repaired?
Yes — most vinyl ballast bags can be professionally repaired as long as the overall bag structure is intact. Port replacements, seam repairs, and puncture patches are all serviceable.
Is ballast bag repair worth it?
In most cases yes. A repair costs a fraction of a new bag, especially for larger or custom-fit bags that run $200-$600+. If the bag is structurally sound, repair is almost always the smarter call.
How long does repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 48 HRS of us receiving your bag. Shipping is typically 2 - 4 days.
How does your repair connect back to my boat? We will provide fittings that match the fittings as received. We have all the fittings for all brand boats.
What if my bag can't be repaired?
If the damage is too extensive, we'll let you know and can apply your repair fee toward a new matching WakeBallast bag.
Do you repair bags from other brands?
Yes — we repair any vinyl ballast bag regardless of brand.
Pricing: Flat rate $150 covers one repair per bag. Multiple issues? We'll assess on arrival let you know everything we found, and make it good as new!
