What size do I need?

Not sure how many bags to order? Use your boat length as a starting point. These are our recommendations based on real setups across the most popular wake boats on the water.

• 20 ft boats - We recommend at least 4 bags (200 LBs). Common boats: MasterCraft NXT20, Malibu 20 VTX.
• 21 ft boats - Grab 6 bags (300 LBs) - Common boats: Nautique G21, Centurion Fi21, ATX.
• 22-23 ft boats - We recommend at least 8 bags (400 LBs). Common boats: Mastercraft X22, Malibu 22 MXZ, Tige Z3.
• 23-24 ft boats - We recommend at least 10 bags (500 LBs). Common boats: Nautique G23, Centurion Ri237, Supreme S238.
• 24-25 ft boats - We recommend at least 12 bags (600LBs). Common boats: MasterCraft X24, Malibu 24 MXZ, Tige R23.
• 26+ ft boats - We recommend at least 14 bags (700LBs). Common boats: Nautique G25, Centurion Ri265.

Every setup is different. Hull shape, factory ballast, and crew weight all affect your wave. These are proven starting points - most riders dial it in from here without major changes.

How much ballast do you actually need?

These setups are based on real boats from 20-26+ ft. They give you a strong, clean surf wave without overloading the hull. Use this as your proven starting point - most riders dial it in from here without changes.

Not sure which size? Round up. You can always redistribute bag placement on the water - you can't add weight you don't have.
