How are the bags built and how durable are they?
Every bag starts as proprietary DuraTEK material, RF-welded with 1" seams for a watertight, puncture-resistant seal — the same approach we'd use on our own boats. Each bag has five 1" ports with tapered threads and bottom O-rings for fast fill and drain, and it's backed by a 2-year warranty. Want fewer ports? Note it at checkout and we'll build it that way.
Are fittings and plugs included?
No. Fittings and plugs are sold separately so you can configure the bag exactly for your setup. Each bag has 5 ports — plan on five WakeBallast fittings and/or plugs per bag based on how you're running it.
Do these work with factory or portable ballast pumps?
Both. PerfectFIT bags work with portable ballast pumps and with your boat's factory-installed system, including automatic fill and drain when integrated with the factory setup.
